CNC vertical lathe is a common large-scale equipment in our production process, which is in great demand in industrial production. So what are the properties of CNC vertical lathe? What should we do in the inspection work on the daily use of CNC vertical lathe?

CNC vertical lathe is a four axis linkage multi-functional precision lathe. It can cast, forge and weld ferrous and nonferrous metal parts with rough and finish machining. It can process the inner and outer cylinders, inner and outer conical surfaces, inner and outer spherical surfaces, grooves, planes, threads, rotating curved surfaces, drum cams, plane cams, etc. Among them, bearing pedestal, shaft sleeve, transition ring, manhole flange and spherical tile are typical machining parts.

The operating handle of the vertical lathe shall be operated flexibly. When the operating handle is pulled to the "start" position, the rocker arm pressing the friction plate shall reach the self-locking position to ensure reliable positioning. The workbench shall be equipped with a locating plate to prevent the four claw seat from withdrawing. When machining eccentric workpieces, counterweight iron needs to be added to keep the worktable balanced. The counterweight iron needs to be firmly clamped to prevent injury from being thrown out.

The friction clutch in the fast travel mechanism needs to be intact and can play a protective role when the load is too large. The safety pin in the safety coupler in the feed box shall meet the design requirements to prevent accidents caused by overload.

2、 Development trend of CNC vertical lathe in the future

At present, the market demand for small CNC vertical lathes with improved versatility and low price is still expanding. At the same time, like horizontal CNC lathes, the development of functional compound machines with machining center awareness is more active.

With the improvement of the processing requirements for finished products with complex shapes, the processing functions of drilling, tapping, boring and other rotation are also being developed. Due to the configuration of c-axis, different composite processing can also be carried out through one-time clamping. In addition, while mainly cutting, coupled with the double-sided constraint ATC mode of single tool, there are many process intensive products that can be re cut in terms of milling function.

Due to the increasingly high requirements of the market in terms of delivery time, quality and price, some small and medium-sized equipment users prefer composite processing machines that can be loaded at one time and engage in multiple processing in order to shorten the production cycle of products. Considering the requirements of environmental protection, the demand for semi dry processing is also increasing. According to the requirements of such users, OM production has developed the semi dry processing technology using gasification heat by means of industry university cooperation, strengthened energy-saving measures and controlled the use of electricity.

At present, CNC lathe is one of the most widely used CNC lathes. It is mainly used for cutting the internal and external cylindrical surfaces of shaft parts or disk parts, internal and external conical surfaces with arbitrary cone angle, complex rotating internal and external curved surfaces, cylinders and conical threads, and can carry out grooving, drilling, reaming, reaming and boring.
