1. Inquiry and investigation when receiving the information about the troubleshooting of the machine tool on site, the operator should first ask the operator to keep the on-site fault state as far as possible without any treatment, which is conducive to the rapid and accurate analysis of the cause of the fault. At the same time, carefully inquire about the fault indication, fault appearance and the background of the fault, and make a preliminary judgment based on this, so as to determine the tools, instruments, drawings and spare parts that should be carried on site for troubleshooting, so as to reduce the round-trip time.

2. After the on-site inspection arrives at the site, first verify the accuracy and integrity of various situations provided by the operator, so as to verify the accuracy of the preliminary judgment. Due to the level of the operator, there are many examples of unclear or even completely inaccurate description of fault conditions. Therefore, after arriving at the site, do not rush to deal with it, and re investigate various conditions carefully, so as not to damage the site and increase the difficulty of troubleshooting.

3. Fault analysis analyzes the fault type according to the known fault conditions and the fault classification method described in the previous section, so as to determine the troubleshooting principle. Since most faults are indicated, in general, a variety of possible causes of the fault can be listed according to the NC system diagnosis manual and operation manual of the machine tool.

4. Determine the cause, check a variety of possible causes, and find out the real cause of the fault. At this time, it is a comprehensive test for the maintenance personnel on the familiarity, knowledge level, practical experience and analysis and judgment ability of the machine tool.

5. Troubleshooting preparation some troubleshooting methods may be very simple, while some faults are often more complex. A series of preparations need to be done, such as preparation of tools and instruments, local disassembly, repair of parts and components, procurement of components and even formulation of troubleshooting plan steps, etc.

2、 What should be paid attention to during the operation of vertical lathe?

1. The rough surface of the workpiece shall not be directly placed on the worktable, but shall be supported by sizing block or screw top; It is forbidden to use the worktable for other operations, such as hammering to correct workpieces, welding workpieces, etc.

2. When aligning the workpiece, only jog the worktable to rotate and align at low speed, and do not align at high speed.

3. When starting and stopping the workbench, the starting and stopping handle of the workbench can only be pulled by hand, and pedaling is strictly prohibited.

4. When the worktable rotates, it is not allowed to do beam lifting and rapid movement of tool rest.

5. When moving the beam, loosen the clamping device first, and clamp it immediately after moving. After the beam is lowered each time, it should be raised a little to eliminate the clearance between lead screws and nuts.

6. Gravity cutting is not allowed when the ram of vertical tool holder and side tool holder extends for a long time; When machining with vertical tool holder, especially for gravity cutting, the pillars should be lowered to the position close to the work as far as possible.

7. During intermittent cutting, the feed and table speed shall be appropriately reduced.

8. When changing speed, the control lever must be pushed to the specified position. If the gear is not meshed well, it shall be adjusted by inching after operation, and forced operation is not allowed.
